Sutherland Defeats Parel in Seven-Hole Playoff at Rapiscan Systems Classic

Kevin Sutherland edged out Scott Parel after a seven-hole playoff to claim a 7-under victory at the Rapiscan Systems Classic. With the score still knotted after five playoff holes on Sunday, darkness suspended play into Monday, when Sutherland sank a 15-foot birdie putt on second hole of the morning, the seventh extra hole overall. With the win he moved to No. 2 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings.
